Are you right for Sprout?Sprout is a six-month-old Lurcher searching for understanding adopters who can give him time, space and guidance. As a young pup who has had a restricted start due to injury, Sprout will thrive with adopters who can take things slowly and thoughtfully, introducing the world to him at a pace he can cope with. A home with a secure garden is essential to support his ongoing toilet training and to gently build up his exercise, alongside plenty of enrichment to help him settle and burn off puppy energy in a positive way. He would be best suited to a household with older teenagers who could understand his behaviour and won’t be overwhelmed by his excitable moments, while any introductions to younger children should be calm and well managed. Gradual socialisation with other dogs alongside gentle exposure to new environments will all be key to helping Sprout blossom into a confident young dog.
