Description
Stanley came to us from a kennel based rescue where he really wasn’t coping well. He was anxious, losing weight,spinning and biting his tail until it bled. Despite the best efforts of the rescue he was very unhappy. He is doing much better now in a home based rescue but he does want to be around us constantly. Separation is going to be an issue for our boy, so a home without much leave time would be best. It’s early days and we can work on it but for now having people around is what he needs.Stanley is a sweet boy, he can be strong on the lead but generally walks nicely. Over stimulation and excitement can cause him to spin and bite his tail but excitement and anxiety are physically identical states of high arousal. Again it is early days for him, he has been with us just over a week as I write this.
