Description
Toad is a 5-year-old Terrier cross looking for a calm and understanding home where she can take life at her own pace. She is a sensitive little dog who can find unfamiliar people, busy environments and sudden noises overwhelming. When she first meets someone, Toad may prefer to keep her distance and observe before deciding that they are safe. Give her the time she needs, however, and a much softer side begins to appear. Once comfortable, she enjoys gentle fuss and can become wonderfully wiggly and affectionate. Toad particularly enjoys getting away from busy environments where she can sniff and explore somewhere quieter. Her confidence with walking is still developing, so her new family will need to introduce the wider world gradually and allow her time to stop and process anything that worries her.
