Tommy

This Handsome boy is Tommy. He was very unsure and nervous around people when he first came into us. The staff has spent a lot of time with him gaining his trust and once he knows you you will see his giddy and playful side. We are looking for an experienced home for Tommy where he can take his time getting to know and trust new people and gaining his confidence in different surroundings. He will need a lot of support and patience during this process. He can be a bit growly when he is scared and unsure so we need to make sure the new adopter has the experience to know when to give him space and let him come around in his own time.Previous experience with German Spitz is preferred.Tommy has socialised well with other dogs whilst in our care although he can be quite vocal with them but we feel following a successful meet and greet could be rehomed with another small dog.As Tommy is so nervous we would like any children/visiting children in the home to be 16+ years.Applications that are s...
