Uma is a very gentle little girl who has come to us from a breeder. When she first arrived, she was unsure of touch and relied heavily on her kennel friends for comfort, often shadowing them and seeking reassurance. She has been slowly coming out of her shell and now she has moved to a foster home where she can learn all about home life for the first time.Despite her worries, Uma is a very sweet girl, and with patience, love, and understanding, she is beginning to show glimpses of her true personality. Uma has already made wonderful progress. She is comfortable sitting near her kennel mummy and is showing a growing interest in food, which is helping her to engage more with people. While she isn’t confident enough to take treats from the hand yet, she happily comes to collect them from the floor, and it’s clear she is trying hard to be brave and will continue to build confidence over time.Uma does have a strong fear of being touched or picked up, and on occasion she may try to nip if sh...
