We don’t have favourites here… but if we did, Valerie would definitely be one of them! Valerie is a sweet and sensitive girl who is looking for a patient family willing to give her the time she needs to build trust. While she can be shy at first, once she feels safe and comfortable, her playful, goofy personality really begins to shine. She also loves a gentle fuss from the people she knows best. She loves her treats and will play with toys sometimes, when she does, she enjoys chucking them into the air and zooming around with them in her mouth. Valerie takes a lot of confidence from other dogs and may benefit from living with others, but she can be a little over the top when she plays, she’s vocal and can be playfully mouthy so any resident dog would need to be comfortable with that style of play. Any potential dogs in the home would need to have a meet or potentially multiple meets on site/ offsite with her to make sure they got on. She could also be happy as the only dog in the home...
