My name is Vera and I am an approximately 2 year old chihuahua cross.I am COMPLETELY BLIND, and am looking for a home with either blind dog experience or with someone who has fully researched what being a blind dog owner involves.When I arrived, I weighed just 1.5kg and now weight 1.75kg…so I am tiny!! For this reason I would like a home without young children but sensible visiting children or older resident children would be fine.I have been in foster with other dogs and made it perfectly clear that I do not want to share a home with other dogs as it causes me distress…so a home as an only dog is essential.I do exhibit some circling behaviour if I get stressed or excited but the vets feel this is not neurological but a learned behaviour due to me being unable to pace or do ‘zoomies’ due to not having any vision.I absolutely love to be cuddled and sit on your lap, and will need someone at home for most of the day so I have companionship.I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped...
