Willow is a pretty, petite lady with the most beautiful big brown eyes — eyes that tell the story of a gentle spirit longing to connect. She is a very nervous dog who can be worried by people at first, but with time, patience, and the help of some tasty treats, she begins to relax and will accept gentle strokes.Willow is still early on in her rehabilitation journey, and because she can be so fearful and skittish, she does pose a high flight risk. For this reason, we will only consider homes with experience of nervous dogs and a secure garden. She has so much potential, but it will take time and understanding before she truly feels safe.She is particularly in need of help building her confidence on walks and when experiencing the wider world, as she can panic if she feels overwhelmed. Having other dogs around is crucial to her progress — she feels safest in their company, so her new home must have at least one confident resident dog.The ideal environment for Willow is a calm, quiet home...
