Ada is a beautiful 9-month-old Spanish Mastiff cross who is now ready to find her forever family. She’s a sweet-natured girl, but she can sometimes feel a little overwhelmed, so she’s looking for a calm home with children aged 14+ who can give her space when she needs time to relax and settle. As a young dog still figuring out the world, Ada can occasionally become boisterous and mouthy, so she’ll need confident owners who can continue her training and help her learn the right behaviours to manage her big feelings.
Enrichment and food-based activities are a huge hit with Ada, and these will be invaluable tools for teaching her calming, settling behaviours. She has previously been housetrained, though she may need a refresher as she transitions back into home life. Ada hasn’t had much experience being left alone, so any time spent solo will need to be built up slowly.
