Alfie

Alfie is a 6-month-old blind Poodle Cross who was sadly found as a stray back in April and now available for adoption at Pawprints Dog Rescue in the Midlands Following his arrival into rescue, we discovered that Alfie has albinism and is blind. Alfie was quickly placed into one of our experienced foster homes, where he has been given the time, patience and support he needed to adjust. With the help of his wonderful foster family and canine foster sister, Alfie has grown in confidence and continues to make fantastic progress every day. Despite being blind, Alfie is a happy, affectionate puppy who loves meeting new people and happily welcomes any attention or fuss. He enjoys spending time outdoors and loves going for walks, although he does explore at his own pace. Alfie relies heavily on his sense of smell and takes time to familiarise himself with new environments, so his adopter will need to be patient and allow him to build confidence as he explores.
