Are you right for Alphie?Alphie is a handsome seven-year-old Beagle cross looking for a new home through no fault of his own, as his owner now needs to travel abroad regularly for work. In true Beagle style, Alphie loves following his nose and exploring the world around him. He is looking for a calm, consistent home where he can take his time getting to know everyone and build a strong bond at his own pace. He could live with children of upper secondary school age who are confident around dogs and able to respect his space. Any visiting children should also be of a similar age. Alphie will need to be the only pet in the home, as he can be selective around other dogs and has a strong prey drive, so he cannot live with cats or other small animals. He will also need a secure, private garden where he can enjoy sniffing, relaxing in a sunny spot and exploring safely.
