He thrives in an active household where he has regular opportunities for both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Like many young gundogs, Apollo can become easily excited and sometimes struggles with frustration, so he will do best with owners who understand how to support dogs through adolescence and are confident — or willing to learn — about consistent training techniques.Apollo can be wary of other dogs and will need careful, patient guidance to build confidence in social situations. He will benefit from slow, positive introductions to new dogs rather than being overexposed or rushed into busy environments.
