Avril

Avril has come to us from her breeder in need of a fresh start, carrying the kind of quiet uncertainty that comes from not knowing much of the world outside a kennel. In those early days, she relied heavily on her kennel friends for courage, trembling softly as she allowed us to pick her up, her relief almost palpable when her little paws touched the ground again.But time, patience, and kindness have begun to work their magic.Avril is now living in a foster home where she is learning all the basics, such as lead training, house training, and all the usual sights and sounds of a home environment, which will all be new for her. But with a little guidance, patience, and a pocket of treats, training is going well. Her house training is coming along steadily, and she is currently going through the nights with no accidents.
