Are you right for Bailey?Bailey is a nearly 5 year old Dachshund and a very nervous little boy who needs someone who will give him time and space to settle. He has been picked on by other dogs since he was a puppy, so he can be unsure around bigger dogs. Bailey has lived with another dog before, but that dog was very much the centre of attention, and Bailey tended to stay in the background. He is currently in foster with several larger dogs and is doing well. He will need another suitable dog in his new home to help show him the ropes and give him confidence. When Bailey first arrived, he spent most of his time hiding behind the sofa or washing machine. He is now starting to follow his foster carer around the house, which might sound like a small thing, but for Bailey it’s a really big step.
