Barney

Meet Barney, our gorgeous Labrador who is searching for a loving new home. He is neutered, vaccinated, blood tested and microchipped and 18 months old Barney is an incredibly affectionate, snuggly boy who thrives on human interaction and loves being close to his people—he’s definitely a “needy” lad in the best possible way. He would be happiest as an only dog, as he can get a little jealous sharing attention, but he has been cat tested and can happily live with cats; although curious at first, he quickly ignores them (we have three, and he’s been great with them). Barney does pull a little on the lead, mostly due to excitement when out and about, but this is improving with practice. He has been left alone for three hours maximum so far and coped well, though he’ll need a home where someone has time to spend with him, as companionship is very important to him and he would get distressed being left too frequently.
