Barney

Barney is a truly lovely boy with a big heart and a love for cuddles. This affectionate little chap adores being close to his people and, once he knows you, will reward you with unwavering loyalty and companionship. He can be a little wary when meeting new people, but he simply needs a bit of time and patience to feel safe. Once he warms up, his loving nature really shines through and he becomes a devoted best friend. Barney enjoys a relaxed and happy lifestyle. He loves pottering around in the garden and soaking up the sunshine, but equally enjoys getting out for walks and having a good run around. He has good recall when out and about but can be reactive towards other dogs and will therefore need an understanding and mindful family. Earlier this year, Barney had symptoms of IVDD and this was managed with medication and rest. He is now doing well. He was previously treated for pancreatitis thought to be brought on by a food allergy and now enjoys a chicken and turkey free diet. Barney...
