Basil

BASIL the springer spaniel came over from Spain back in November 2024 and it became apparent, he had an issue with one of his hips. Hip dysplasia was diagnosed and a FHO (femoral head ostectomy) was carried out to ease his issue whilst in foster. Completely successful and then he was adopted in April 2025. Sadly BASIL has been returned to us a year later. Although not a problem with the husband, the wife adopter had issues with him pulling on a lead and reacting to other dogs. BASIL is in foster near Grantham, Lincolnshire and living with dogs and cats (no issues with either). He is a very cuddly boy, jumps straight in the car and travels well. Sleeps in the kitchen at night with the other fosters and is fully housetrained. Not particularly prey driven and loves to be in the garden watching the world go by. He is a calm 4 year old and loves his rural walks. He would be looking for a quieter home with someone who enjoys their walks in the woods or fields. He would so love his own sofa a...
