Bear is looking for a home with children of upper secondary school age and above that are confident around boisterous Rottweilers. Bear has had limited socialisation with other dogs and is continuing to work on his social skills, so he would be happiest as the only dog in the home while his social experiences are continued in a positive and controlled way. A home without cats would suit him best, although small pets could be considered if kept separate. Bear would benefit from adopters who can give him time to settle into his new surroundings, with his time left alone built gradually. In return, he will be a fun, loyal and rewarding companion who brings plenty of laughter and love to everyday life. Due to him showing a lot of breed traits, Bear would be best suited to a home who have experience with young Rottweilers. Bears new family will be committed to his ongoing training and willing to work alongside our behaviour team to aid in his development.
