Bella is a beautiful girl looking for a new chance in life! Bella came into our care due to no fault of her own, and has been a brilliant girl since. She has been out of the centre and she passes people and dogs while out on a walk, but still reacts a couple of times. This is something we are still working on with her, as we believe she is very frustrated for being on the lead and restrained. She tends to have a bigger reaction to smaller breeds walking by, and barks a couple of times. For that reason, we think Bella is best suited as an only pet to a home with her own secure garden. Bella will need a few meets from possible adopters as she can be wary of new people coming into her space. After she is comfortable, she is a very sweet dog and also very smart! Bella is doing amazing with some of her basic training, and picks up things in no time. Bella LOVES a big comfy bed and we believe she would love a huge bed to lounge about in her new home! Bella is a people forward dog, and she will be a brilliant addition to a household that has had Rotties before. Are you right for Bosco?Bosco is a stunning 1 year old Rottweiler with a bright mind and a big personality. This handsome boy is incredibly smart and loves nothing more than earning tasty treats while showing off what he has learnt.Bosco does have a sensitive, anxious side, so is looking for a calm, adult only home. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home but he can happily enjoy the company of calm doggy friends while out on walks.He can take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he feels comfortable Bosco's cheeky fun-loving nature really shines through. Bosco isn't comfortable with lots of handling so is learning to wear a muzzle for vet visits and grooming. Are you right for Branston?Branston is looking for a calm and predictable home, with active adopters who can take him on lots of exploring, sniffy adventures in quiet, low dog populated walking areas and secure fields, and will put time into building a bond with him and give him all the love and attention he deserves. He would do best in an adult only home with adopters who are comfortable with his size and strength, Branston does have a sensitive side and would benefit from adopters who will help build his confidence with lots of positive training and gentle handling. He will need to be the only pet in his new home so he can relax and enjoy all of his adopter’s attention to himself. He would like quiet walking areas as he finds interacting with dogs difficult, because of this he will be going home on a lead and muzzle disclaimer. His new family will need to be understanding and patient, willing to help him continue this training and to advocate for his personal space during walks, ideally in areas where there are not too many other dogs around so he can relax and enjoy his walkies. Branston will need his own secure and private garden for pottering and playing and for practicing his housetraining. He can enjoy some alone time, up to around 1-2 hours, but he'll need a slow and gentle introduction to this once he's comfortable in his new surroundings. While Branston has learned many tricks already, he's eager to expand his repertoire and is quick to engage, especially if there are treats involved. Branston will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home with potential home visits to make sure he is settling in well so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.Is Branston right for you?Big ball of love Branston is a 3 year old Rottweiler with a heart as big as his boundless energy. His idea of a perfect day? Playing with his toys and snuggling with his favourite humans. Cuddles are his favourite, he will happily lean on you for more, laying his head in your lap, sometimes even trying to sit on you, not realising that he is rather large. Branston lives for playtime! He can play alone or engage with his handlers, he does need larger super tough toys to play with though, as softer toys do not hold up against those teeth. This cuddle bug is on the lookout for his new home.

Are you right for Cash?Cash is a 1 year 7 month old Rottweiler with a sweet but sensitive nature, looking for a calm, understanding adult-only home. He can be a little unsure with handling, particularly around his head and neck, and may come across as hand shy at first, so he’ll need patient adopters who are willing to build trust at his pace. Cash enjoys his walks and loves the freedom of running off lead in secure areas, and would thrive with a private garden where he can relax and play. While he can walk alongside calmer dog companions, he would prefer to be the only pet in the home, as he can become overexcited and struggles to read other dogs’ behaviours. He is friendly when meeting new people, but introductions should be slow and on his terms to help him feel safe and confident.Cash has a medical condition which can be discussed directly with the Rehoming Centre.Is Cash right for you?Cash could be a wonderful companion for someone willing to invest time, patience, and understanding into helping him grow in confidence. He has a moderate energy level and enjoys exploring new places, making him a great match for adopters who like gentle adventures. Cash can be vocal when left alone, so any time apart will need to be built up gradually to help him settle. In the right home, with consistent guidance and a secure, loving environment, Cash has so much potential to flourish and become a loyal, affectionate best friend.

Adorable Cece came to us due to her owner’s ill health. Poor Cece has been with us for a few months now but has sadly not found the right home. Although she can be a little hesitant to meet new people, she is an absolute love bug once she knows you. Cece generally walks well on a lead but can be strong if she does decide to pull or if she’s feeling stubborn. She has started to be stand offish towards strangers when on walks as she feels like she needs to protect her owner and can get too carried away with play where she can jump up and mouth so she does need someone who will set boundaries from the start. Ideally, Cece is looking for a home with someone with experience of the breed. We will home her with children over the age of 12 years old. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home although she has been ok with visiting dogs with her previous owners. She also doesn’t like cats. Cece is possessive of her food and toys with dogs. She’s a big girl (approx 45kg!) who can sometimes be a bit boisterous. She loves to play and enjoys having a fuss. Sweet Cece will make a loving and loyal pet, she just needs someone to give her a chance to decompress and settle in

Rottie Friends Rescue

Chowder Puff is a young female Chow found as a stay. She had sore eyes due to entropion issues meaning her eye lashes turned inwards scratching her eyes. She has had a bilateral face lift to resolve this and may not look very pretty at the moment but it will really help her be healthy and pain free in the future. She is a really sweet girl who is recovering well. St Francis Dogs Home

This handsome boy is Cobi, a 2 year old Labrador x Rottie.He is neutered, and up to date with his vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.Cobi, as one would expect, is a high energy adolescent lad, so we will be looking for an experienced large dog home. He can be quite boisterous so an adult only home, or home with older children is sought.He would like to be the only dog in a home as he’s not a fan of sharing attention!NO CATSHe can be left up to 4 hours. He settles well but doesn’t like to be shut in a room and doesn’t like crates.He is very strong on the lead, and will need an equally strong, capable handler who can keep up with his training!He is house trained, and has reasonable basic commands but needs some work on his recall. He travels well in the car as long as he is not in a crate. He loves to learn and loves his training. He gets very excitable meeting new people, and dogs out on walk, but does calm down after a short time, and with proper introduction.Cobi is a really lovely and handsome boy, sociable and happy. Conan is housetrained, though he may need a little refresher as he settles back into home life.This gorgeous lad has been an absolute joy to look after. He adores spending time with his carers especially if there’s a good bum scratch involved!Conan is searching for a home with children aged 14+ who are confident around large, bouncy dogs. Conan would like to be the only dog in his new home, where he can gradually work on his social skills out and about. He’s already a pro at wearing his muzzle and is happy to wear it out and about on his walkies in busy areas, however he doesn't need to wear it all the time. Conan will need his own secure garden to run around and play in. Being left alone can make Conan feel unsettled, so he would love a home where he has company for most of the day. Once he’s comfortable, his time alone should be built up gradually and with positive guidance to help him feel settled and comfortable. Conan loves nothing more than playing with toys and enjoys playing raggy. He's always up for a game of catch or fetch, but soft toys don't often last long when Conan is around! He loves to learn new things and show off some things he already knows for a treat or two. Beautiful lady Holly is looking for her forever person.Holly is a super soft lady, she is very nervous in new situations but she loves any interaction from people and being made a fuss of.She lives very rural with not a lot of interaction from anything. She is generally not walked as she has acres of ground to run around in. We feel she may need to go into this type of environment again as she may find built up areas too overwhelming.Holly hasn’t had much experience with being walked and this is something she will need to work on, any new adopter would have to be prepared to be patient and kind to help her build her confidence in these new situations.She is very boisterous and can jump up.
