Bernie

Bernie is a retired racing greyhound who has sadly spent far too long in kennels, and he’s really hoping his retirement home is just around the corner.He’s a quiet, gentle boy who walks beautifully on the lead. At the moment he’s enjoying short walks while he slowly builds up his muscle again, often heading out with our wonderful volunteers. Bernie takes everything in his stride and is an absolute pleasure to walk.In the playpen he’s a calm character — happy to have a gentle sniff around and take a relaxed stroll.He’s very inoffensive, not bothered by other dogs just keeps himself to himself enjoying his walks and his time with a human.He also has a lovely affectionate side too, one of Bernie’s favourite things is leaning gently against your leg for a bit of fuss and attention... of which he has an abundance not to mention plenty of TLC as he wasn't in the best states when he came in so he has been pampered and showered with love.After giving far too many years to racing, Bernie deserv...
