Are you right for Bertie? Bertie is a gorgeous 4 year old Poodle cross with a sweet, gentle nature and a real love of people. He’s friendly and social with everyone he meets. At home, Bertie is a lovely little companion. He enjoys relaxing on the sofa, especially with his head resting on his foster carer’s lap, and he’s happy to settle while they get on with things around the house. He can sometimes follow along to see what’s happening, but he is also content to stay cosy until something more exciting comes along, like playtime, a walk, or attention from his favourite people. Bertie loves being brushed and will come over excitedly when the brush appears, ready to lie beside you and enjoy a pamper. Out and about, Bertie enjoys exploring and is happy on his walks. He doesn’t pull heavily and will walk closer beside you when gently encouraged.
