Betty

​​​ Betty is a beautiful 7–8 year old Beagle who came into our care after being sadly abandoned and taken into the pound. After serving her 7 days, we stepped in to offer her rescue and a second chance at the loving home she deserves. ​ We don’t know much about Betty’s past, but it’s clear she has been someone’s much-loved pet. She is a friendly, affectionate girl who enjoys human company and seems comfortable around other dogs. She’s quite active and enjoys her walks — true to her Beagle nature, she loves to use her nose and can be vocal when excited! ​ Betty knows some basic commands and is clean in her kennel. She can pull on the lead a bit but we are sure she will settle once she gets out and about more often. She would suit a home with older children aged 8+ and may be able to live with another dog. ​ Betty has not been tested with cats, so we are looking for a cat-free home (and no small furries, please).
