Hello, my name is Blake and I’m a gentle ex-racing greyhound looking for a calm and loving home to begin my next chapter.I’m a very affectionate boy who really enjoys being close to my people. One of my favourite ways to ask for attention is to lean gently into you or rest my head in your lap while you give me some fuss. I’m a very tactile dog and I find comfort in being touched, stroked and brushed. In fact, brushing is one of my favourite things and I’ll happily ask for more when you stop.I’ve been very well behaved during all of my handling and health checks, and I stay calm and cooperative when being examined or even lifted. I’m a relaxed boy who enjoys gentle interactions and quiet companionship.Toys are still a bit of a mystery to me. I’ve had a look at them but I’m not quite sure what I’m meant to do with them yet.
