Buddy

Are you right for Buddy?Buddy is a 12 year old whippet X looking for a calm home where life revolves more around relaxing together than clocking up miles on walks. He could live with children of secondary school age and older but would like to be the only pet. He is one of the few dogs in our care who really benefits from having his own secure private garden, where he can potter, sunbathe, roll in the grass and spend time with his favourite people. Although Buddy enjoys getting out occasionally, he's very much a homebody and doesn't need daily walks to be happy. He would much rather have the odd peaceful stroll somewhere quiet than busy routes full of dogs, people and traffic, and he may still be vocal if he sees things he finds worrying. He also travels best when he can't see out of the car, as passing traffic can cause him to bark, so his new family will need to be happy using a covered crate or similar setup.
