Are you right for Buddy? Buddy is looking for a home where he can enjoy plenty of opportunities to explore, play and keep his busy brain occupied. He could potentially live with another suitable dog following successful introductions, although his enthusiastic play style may be better suited to a dog who is comfortable with a more boisterous playmate. Buddy has a strong chase instinct, so he won’t be able to live with cats or other small furry pets. Buddy has been described as gentle around children and could live with dog-savvy children who understand when he needs some space, particularly around handling. He has only previously been left for around two hours and may bark for a short time before settling, so leaving time will need to be minimal initially and gradually built up once he feels comfortable in his new home.
