Callie

Callie is a bright, affectionate French Bulldog cross with a huge heart and a brand-new lease on life. She came to Millbrook after her previous owner could no longer care for her and her two friends, having spent much of her time confined to a crate. When she first arrived, she was underweight and required veterinary treatment for ear issues and early flea allergies. Recognising her breed traits, the team also assessed her breathing and performed surgery on her nose and soft palate. The procedure was a complete success, drastically improving her airways and unleashing a much more energetic, joyful dog who now greets everyone she meets with enthusiasm. As she continues her journey, Callie is working on gaining weight until she reaches her healthy target of around 24 kilograms. Her newfound energy means she can occasionally be a little strong on the lead, but her sweet nature always shines through. She is very clean in her kennel environment and will thrive in a loving forever home where...
