Are you right for Calliope?Meet our gorgeous girlie, Calliope. She's a 7 year old Greyhound who has arrived in our care with little known about her past. Calliope has been a pleasure to care for, greeting everyone she meets gently and with a wiggly tail. She's looking for adopters who can teach her all she needs to know about home life including mastering her housetraining and learning how to settle home alone, which we recommend is gradually built up. Calliope is an ex-racer so she does wear a muzzle out on her walks, which she doesn't mind. This also means she does have a high chase drive for anything small and fluffy, so she isn't suitable to live with cats. Calliope could share her home with children 4+ who can understand when she may need time alone to relax. She is a social girl and we think she could happily live with a similar size dog following a meeting here at the centre.
