Canelo

Meet Canelo! Fun-loving and playful, Canelo’s favourite things include a good game of tug and chasing after his ball. Canelo spends much of his day hanging out in our office spaces, where he’s the ideal colleague. He does show some typical Akita traits and may not be the cuddliest companion, but he settles beautifully and would make a wonderful work-from-home company. Canelo really enjoys meeting dogs, although his playstyle can be over the top. For this reason, he will need to be the only dog in the home, while he continues to work on his calmer greets when on walks and keeping his excitement in check. Canelo’s dream setup includes a secure, private garden where he can freely zoom and play, with active owners who have undertaken some breed research and have familiarised themselves with Akita traits. If you have already completed our online rehoming form and would like to know more about Canelo, you can e-mail our rehoming team on rehoming@battersea.org.uk to register your interest...
