CARLY, our pretty breton, is in foster in Doncaster, S Yorkshire. She arrived a little fearful of her new surroundings (having never lived in a home) and didn’t know her name (but then she had only had it for a week or so!), she comes in from the garden when her foster parents call her name and she’ll also respond from another room with a reward of a small treat. Recall is a work in progress. But is improving every day. Loves a lead walk, the whole world is new to her, she really follows the resident dogs and looks to them for confidence. She has been let her off lead in a secure field and she loves to run, zoomies are her favourite thing to do. Our dogs all join in and this is when you really see her smile. Her adoptive family are going to need to put the time in to build up her trust. When worried she runs away into her bed in the corner of foster mum’s office.
