CONNIE was found fending for herself on the streets in Spain and in quite a poor condition. She has settled well into her foster home in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire with her fellow foster dog, DANKO. She gets on well with all the resident dogs, male and female and happy meeting people and dogs out on walks. Not reactive to the cats next door or the horse in the field adjoining the foster family’s garden. She sleeps in the kitchen with DANKO and is non-destructive. She has caught a couple of birds in the garden (a pigeon and a starling), but drops them when commanded. She is happy scrumping the pears she can reach in the orchard! She has been left for 2-3 hours with the other dogs during the day with no issues. She does like to follow her foster family members around, but is not clingy. Recall in the garden/house is good, but not tested outside as has always been on leash on walks. She loves to run in the garden and chase with resident bretons, Fritz and Fina. She’ll happily play by hers...
