Are you right for Cooper?Cooper is a bright and energetic one year old Cocker Spaniel looking for a patient and understanding adult-only home to help him feel safe and confident in the world. This clever boy already knows his basics, including sit, wait, and drop and he loves to use his brain. Like many spaniels, Cooper thrives when he has a job to do, so he would be happiest in an active home where he can enjoy activities such as scent work, hoopers, or other engaging training games. Cooper can be a bit of a worry wart, especially around new people and unfamiliar handling. Because of this, he currently wears a muzzle for vet visits and grooming, as he finds these situations quite overwhelming. He will need adopters who are willing to go at his pace and continue building his confidence through positive, reward-based training.
