Meet Criss Cross, a big-hearted, sensitive lad who has come to us from a breeder and is slowly learning to find his confidence in the world. When Criss Cross arrived as a worried soul, needing extra patience, understanding, and gentle care. He had very little formal handling in his past, and early on could be grumbly or anxious when unsure. He required slow, careful introductions to people, places, and experiences while he started to understand his new surroundings.While Criss Cross can still be a little shy when meeting new people, once he feels comfortable his affectionate side really shines through. He actively seeks out fuss and cuddles and has become quite the cuddle bug, often trying to return kisses to the people he trusts. He is learning his manners well and responds nicely to calm, consistent guidance.Criss Cross is growing in confidence with his harness training and now enjoys daily walks beyond the rescue.
