06-01-26 Cuba is a very nervous and shy boy who is finding the world quite overwhelming at the moment. He needs a slow, gentle approach and plenty of time to build trust, but once he feels safe with someone, he will allow calm, gentle fuss while settled in his bed, which he finds very reassuring. Underneath his worried exterior, Cuba is simply a big, scared baby who needs kindness, patience, and understanding to help him feel secure.Cuba will need an adult-only home with experienced adopters who understand nervous dogs and are happy to let him settle at his own pace. He has never lived in a home before, so everything will be completely new to him. His adopters will need to be patient and supportive as he learns about home life, including house training and how to walk on a harness and lead.
