Daffy is £100 Daffy is an affectionate older gentleman looking for a sofa to sunbathe on and a human companion or two to hang out with. Sadly his current family are looking for a new home for him as changes to work schedules mean he is now left alone for much of the day and he is becoming increasingly stressed by this. Daffy is an easy-going boy but his early life was disturbing and difficult. He was rescued from a dog-hoarding situation as a young dog and was in a terrible, starved state. He has since made an amazing recovery but this early experience of not knowing when or if he would be fed means that he resource-guards food. His family manages this very successfully but his new family will need to be mindful around food in order to manage this bite risk – we will give behaviourist support to ensure his move to a new family goes well. Apart from food, Daffy is a straight-forward dog who just wants a gentle walk, a comfy sofa and someone around most of the time. He would love a garde...
