Dakota

She is an affectionate girl who enjoys a cuddle and has been very friendly with everyone she meets! She likes to nuzzle in to you and lean on you for strokes! She is happy to walk with our volunteers and enjoys her time spent out of her kennel. She is quite a chilled out girl who loves to snuggle up in her blankets.Dakota came in to our care from an ex racing background and is currently paired with another greyhound in her kennel. She seems happy to share her space and has interacted well with other dogs whilst out on her walks. We do feel that she would be happy to live with another dog in the home of a similar size – subject to a successful meet.We feel that Dakota would be best suited to a home where children are 12 years or older – this would be subject to a successful meet and greet. No cats or small animals in the home due to her having a high prey drive.Dakota is a very loving girl that would love a home to call her own after spending a lot of her life in a kennel environment.
