Are you right for Dan? Soft and sensitive Dan is an ex racing Greyhound who hasn't had much exposure to the normal things most dogs see day to day. Spending the last four years in a kennel means that he can quickly get overwhelmed by everyday things and will need a patient and understanding family to help him overcome his fears. Is Dan right for you? Dan would prefer an adult only home but would enjoy living with another dog who can show him the world isn't such a scary place. He can be quite playful so any resident dogs will need to like a bit of rough and tumble! He loves to meet other dogs on his strolls and just needs to learn to calm his initial excitement! Dan will need time and some guidance to settle into his new environment, but he will prove to be a fun and loving member of the household.
