Dancer

Dancer came to us from a breeder and was initially a very frightened girl who found the world to be a big and scary place. When she first arrived, she didn’t know that people could be kind or that gentle hands could bring love and comfort. Over time, and with the patience and support of her foster family, Dancer has started to show her brave side and take those first important steps towards trusting humans.This sweet girl is slowly finding her feet and gaining confidence. She now enjoys going on little “sniffy walks” with her canine friends and recently attended a beagle meet, which really helped her come out of her shell. She can still be wary of people’s intentions and doesn’t enjoy being picked up, but she will now allow her fosterers to lift her gently into the car, where she travels beautifully.Dancer has started to show flashes of her playful personality too, she sometimes tries to encourage her dog friends to play and has been known to cheekily pinch a slipper or two if given th...
