Meet our Delightful Dean!Dean is an 10-month-old, energetic Akita with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Found as a stray, Dean hasn’t let his past slow him down. He’s a playful, affectionate dog who loves people and thrives on one-to-one time with his carers.As an adolescent, Dean will need plenty of physical and mental stimulation, as well as time built into his daily routine to rest and relax. He loves people but is not keen on some aspects of handling, so will benefit from consistent, positive training to help him grow into a confident and well-behaved adult. When stressed or over-excited, Dean can forget his manners, so his new owners will need to be confident enough to continue training with a large, strong dog who is at an age where testing the boundaries is to be expected.Dean enjoys playing with other dogs, although he can be a little boisterous, so a tolerant and steady canine companion could be a good match.
