Meet Dean!Dean is an 8 month old energetic Akita with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Dean was found as a stray but he has not let that hold him back. He is a playful, affectionate dog who loves people and thrives on one on one time with his carers. As an adolescent dog, Dean will need around three walks a day, mental stimulation, and plenty of rest. He is still getting used to people handling him and will benefit from consistent, positive training to help him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult. He can forget his manners and and become a little overstimulated when stressed, aroused or excited, so new owners must be confident to continue training in this area with a dog of his size, and at an age where he will test the boundaries.Dean enjoys playing with other dogs, though he can be a little pushy for play, so a tolerant, steady canine friend could be a good match for him. sadly he's a little too excited by smaller animals so we don't think he would suit a home with ...
