Male11 years oldArrived 5th February (49 days ago)Being looked after by RSPCA Chesterfield rehoming centerLog number : 01712170We realise not everyone is in a position to adopt a companion, so why not take a look at our virtual adoption scheme …..Patiently awaiting rescueDexter is one of our dogs for which we cover boarding and vet bills while being cared for at the Chesterfield Rehoming Centre. He requires neutering and some dental work which we’ll be arranging prior to adoption. He came in with three dogs, severely matted coats, they had to be completely shaved under general anaesthetic. Sadly a Stafford Bull Terrier had to be put to sleep due to poor quality of life with a severe bladder tumour.Dexter is a very friendly dog and will make a really lovely companion.A sad background : The owner that signed them over was an elderly lady who lived alone.
