Dotty is an IVDD survivor, but she is so much more than her diagnosis – she is a hilarious little character with an abundance of love to give to the right home. While she shows promising signs of sensation, her physical recovery has been slow; however, she doesn’t let that dampen her spirits in the slightest and would love a human companion to help her get out and see the world. Dotty is an energetic girl who occasionally finds her physical limitations frustrating. She benefits greatly from using her wheels to keep her mobile and active, though at home, she is encouraged to move around independently to maintain her strength. Life with an IVDD warrior requires someone with the time and patience to keep her in tip-top shape. This involves careful management of her skin health and hygiene, as well as expressing her bladder regularly which is straightforward to do.
