Are you right for Dougie? We’re looking for a very special home for this lovely, worried boy, where he can feel safe, build his confidence and learn that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. Although he can be unsure when meeting new people or experiencing new things, he does begin to come around to his own people fairly quickly, and with a little patience and understanding, his lovely personality can start to shine through. He’ll need a family who can see the potential in him, give him time to settle and celebrate all those little steps forward, however small they may seem. A calm, predictable home with minimal visitors would be ideal, allowing him to relax and feel secure without becoming overwhelmed. A confident, friendly resident dog would be a wonderful companion for him, helping him feel more at ease and showing him the ropes as he continues to grow in confidence.
