Edith at Old Windsor is a bright, bubbly Saluki Cross with a heart full of love and a big personality waiting to shine. Edith has blossomed during her time with us, showing just how affectionate and playful she can be once she feels bonded with her people. She can find meeting new people – especially men – a little overwhelming and may become a little reactive on walks or in indoor spaces. Her new family will need to support her gently as she continues building confidence at her own pace. When Edith first arrived, she wasn’t sure how to behave around other dogs, particularly while on lead, and could become vocal or pull towards them. With training and guidance, she has made great progress, but she’ll need her new owners to continue this work. With time and support, Edith can enjoy socialising and interacting appropriately with other dogs once she has made friends. We believe she could live with a steady, playful dog who can match her energy, help her feel secure and show her the ropes ...
