Hi, I’m Ace! I’m about 2 years old and I've not been lucky enough to live in a home yet. I came here in February and I'm loving my indoor heated kennel with nice blankets! I absolutely love other dogs and I like people but I'm just a bit shy. I’d be more than happy to live with another dog or without, I'm not fussy but I did used to chase rabbits for a living so I might do the same with a cat in the house.I’m learning to walk on a lead and come back when I'm called. I'm loving my new raw food as I was a bit hungry. I’m looking for a home that is easy going as I like a calm life but I do also like to play with other dogs. If you’re after a gentle soul that would probably end up sleeping on the sofa in the sunshine then I'm your man! Love,Ace

Hi, I’m Bob I’m a 1 and 1/2-year-old Saluki looking for a calm, loving home where I can grow in confidence and feel safe. I’m a gentle, affectionate boy who really enjoys company, and once I settle in, my playful side starts to shine.I’d love to live with a calm, confident dog who can help guide me and show me the ropes—it really helps me feel secure! I can live with children aged 11+ who understand I may need a little time to settle but I do love a cuddle! As a sighthound, I can’t live with cats or small furries as I do love a chase! I’ll also need a secure garden with 6ft fencing where I can safely stretch my legs.I’m not a fan of being left alone just yet, so I’ll need someone around most of the time initially, with my leaving hours built up gradually.I’m a sweet, sensitive boy who just needs the right home to shine—could that be with you? Hope to meet you soon! Callas (born August 2025) is a happy, energetic, smallish female saluki who finds joy in every minute of every day. She loves being out and about; those eye-catching looks fitting well with her “social butterfly” attitude. She gets on very well with other dogs and would love a playful canine companion for silliness. She adores people and would be happy in a home with lots going on and a secure garden in which to let off her puppy liveliness. She is microchipped. A non-negotiable condition of adoption is that she will be speyed at the appropriate age and that there will not be any non-castrated dogs in her new family. We believe she can live with cats as long as they watch out for her waggy tail! If you would like this ditzy girl in your family and there is someone around all the time, please contact us.

Choice ( born September 2024) is a smaller female saluki lurcher. She can be a little tentative with new people or in new situations but, once reassured, she is playful and fun loving. She would like a home with an enclosed, reasonably sized garden in which to let off steam. She is enthusiastic about going for walks but biddable. She could live with other friendly dogs but would prefer a child-free home. She would need a home with someone around a lot as she is only young. She is neutered and microchipped. If you would like to offer a home to this sweet young girl, please contact us.

Sadie has come to us from the pound so no history is known. She is a timid girl when you first meet her but her tail does not stop wagging and she is loving all the new fuss. She has come in in a sorry state, underweight, with sores on her ears and a very gritty coat. She is in need of lots of TLC! She walks very nicely on the lead but shows interest in wildlife. She will need a very kind home with someone who can show her all the love she deserves! Please come to our Edenbridge centre for more information.

Lizzie Longlegs, a 8 years old female Saluki available for adoption from Dogs Trust in Scotland

Lizzie Longlegs

Scotland

Are you right for Lizzie Longlegs?Once upon a time, there was a sparkling, orange-loving princess named Lizzie Longlegs — a 9-year-old Saluki cross whose claim to fame isn’t long hair, but her beautifully long legs. Lizzie is a gentle soul who enjoys a calm kingdom where she can relax with her family and soak up affection. When meeting new people, she may be a little shy at first — but offer her a tasty treat or a squeaky toy, and you’ll quickly earn her royal approval (and her heart). Once she knows you, Lizzie will happily rule your couch and become your most loyal companion. She would be happiest in a home with children aged 16+, where her gentle nature can truly flourish. Lizzie prefers to be the only dog in her castle and enjoys her walks best in quiet, tranquil surroundings. She strolls beautifully on lead, is comfortable wearing her muzzle, and travels like royalty in the car. Most of all, Lizzie adores her people and is not used to being left alone. She’s looking for a devoted companion who can be home most of the day, ready to keep her company and share a life full of love, laughter, and snuggles. If you’re searching for a princess who sparkles, loves orange, and will happily snuggle her way into your heart — Lizzie Longlegs is ready for her happily ever after.AWE license number 13090 by West Lothian Council.
