Eric will need a very special home with people who understand that good things take time. He needs a family who can offer him the patience, kindness and reassurance he deserves, allowing him to settle at his own pace without any pressure. He is gradually learning to build relationships with people, and his new family will need to be dedicated to continuing this journey, showing him that humans can be trusted and that life has so many lovely things to offer. Living with another confident, friendly resident dog is an absolute must for Eric. He takes so much confidence from other dogs, and having a canine companion to show him the ropes will make a world of difference. Eric could potentially live with children aged 14+, provided they are understanding of his needs and happy to give him the time, patience and space he needs to feel comfortable.
