Description
This very handsome boy is Evan, and he’s searching for his forever home. Evan came to us from a breeder and, while he is a truly wonderful dog at heart, he does have some quirks that mean he’s looking for a specific kind of family.
With the people he knows and trusts, Evan is full of love. He greets his friends with a waggy tail, a happy face, and so much affection, whether he’s in his kennel or out enjoying a walk. With new people, Evan can be a little reserved at first, but he’s making steady progress in building confidence. He’s learning that gentle fuss and kind hands bring good things, and once that bond of trust is formed, he gives it back tenfold.
In the past, Evan has shown some uncertainty around men. He went into foster for a day however returned to kennels when he wasn’t keen on the man in the home.
