Hello, my name is Fifi 💕I’m a very beautiful little dachshund who came into rescue as a stray. We believe I may have been used for breeding in my past, which means my age is unknown and my start in life wasn’t the easiest. Because of this, the world can sometimes feel overwhelming to me, and I can be frightened by loud noises, unfamiliar people, and busy surroundings.I’m a gentle, sensitive girl who needs time and patience to feel safe. My future family will need to be understanding and may need to visit me several times at the centre so I can build trust at my own pace. Once I feel secure, I quietly show my loving nature and form strong bonds with my humans.I would be happiest in a calm, low-traffic home where life is peaceful and predictable. I take confidence from other dogs and could be rehomed with a friendly dog of a similar size, as having a canine companion really helps me feel braver.
