FLOSS was a stray breton back in 2021 and after a time in a UK foster home, she was adopted. Fast forward 4 years and she has been returned because the adopters say they can no longer cope with her scavenging in the garden and on walks. Apparently she is constantly looking for food, when out in a cafe or generally out and about. As a stray, a lot of our rescues see food as a way to live, but generally, with training over a period of time, this subsides. I feel training may have been missed here. She is now back into foster in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, N Yorkshire and has been assessed for a number of weeks. Lovely FLOSS is a happy soul and very friendly meeting new people and happy around other dogs in the foster home and out and about. Her foster mum says she is very respectful when meeting all dogs and loves to play with them. Apparently she is very gentle even when playing with the resident chihuahua.
