Frenchie

Frenchie the lurcher has sadly been returned to us at the centre. Unfortunately, sometimes placements don’t work out. She was very loved and had a lovely time with her family, but it simply wasn’t meant to be.Frenchie is approximately 3 years old and is still a shy girl at heart. She may take a few minutes to warm up to new people, but once she feels safe, her playful and affectionate personality begins to shine through. She lacks confidence in the outside world and will need a calm, patient home that can help her build this slowly and at her own pace.When Frenchie first came into our care, she was kennelled alongside a spaniel and coped well with shared space. She has also spent time in a quiet foster home, where she proved herself to be the perfect house guest — settled, gentle, and respectful in a home environment.As a lurcher (sighthound), Frenchie naturally has a prey drive.
