Fudge

Everyone meet super special boy Fudge Fudge first arrived with us at the beginning of 2025, and at that time he was in very poor condition. He had slipped a disc in his spine and the initial advice was that euthanasia would be the kindest option. But we knew Fudge well, and we could see that he was still happy, bright, and enjoying life — so we decided to give him a chance. After careful discussions with our vet and putting the right care plan and support in place, we worked with Fudge to help him regain the use of his legs… and boy did he prove everyone wrong. We were incredibly proud of him. With time, patience, and lots of love, Fudge began to thrive. He went on to find a wonderful home with a lovely family, but sadly, through absolutely no fault of Fudge’s, their circumstances have changed and he will now be returning to Almost Home to look for another family.
